Working visit of HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke and Xavier Bettel to the Kingdom of Cambodia
From March 29 to April 2, 2025, HRH Hereditary Grand Duke and Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel paid a working visit to Cambodia to strengthen bilateral relations with the Kingdom.
The program includes meetings with Cambodian officials, exchanges with civil society and visits to development cooperation projects.
Xavier Bettel signed a general cooperation agreement between Luxembourg and Cambodia, and announced a contribution of 2 million euros for demining, in partnership with the UN.
The delegation also visited several projects, including the "Mith Samlanh" vocational training center, which is supported by Luxembourg Cooperation through the Juniclair Foundation, which helps with the reintegration of marginalized youth.
This visit helped to strengthen ties between the two countries and to promote initiatives that have a direct impact on the Cambodian population.
